Who is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?: Despite some hardcore fans questioning its validity, the WWE Hall of Fame is the predominant token of appreciation and gratitude in the pro wrestling business. Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is not just an honour for the inductee, but also a chance for the fans to look back at the incredible career of the wrestler or personality inducted.

While the announcement for inductions for a year’s Hall of Fame class starts around the Royal Rumble time in January, one can always speculate as to who will be honoured on WrestleMania weekend. That is what we are doing today, as we predict who might join the WWE Hall of Fame in the class of 2024.

Bray Wyatt

The most prominent name that comes to mind who must headline the Hall of Fame class of 2024 is the recently passed Bray Wyatt (real name Windham Rotunda). The former three-time World Champion will forever be in fans’ hearts for being one of the most creative minds in the wrestling business in recent times.

Bray’s multiple personas on WWE TV intrigued viewers and captured their imagination. From the Cult Leader who had the whole World in his hands, to the genuinely haunting persona of The FIend, to his WWE return in 2022. What will be a better way to honor his legacy than inducting him into the Hall of Fame posthumously?

Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman’s mark on professional wrestling is indelible. The owner and showrunner of the original ECW has been the best on-screen manager in WWE for the past decade. The wrestling world changed for good by his revolutionary booking in Extreme Championship Wrestling, while his work on the mic is second to none.

As WrestleMania 40 (and the preceding Hall of Fame ceremony) will take place in Philadelphia next year, which was the home of ECW, it would only be fitting to honor The Wise Man’s legacy in professional wrestling.

Tommy Dreamer

With WrestleMania 40 taking place in Philadelphia, another Hardcore icon who is due a place in the WWE Hall of Fame is Tommy Dreamer. Called the Hear of ECW back in the original promotion, Dreamer is a former ECW Champion and was part of some of the most memorable moments in the promotion. The 52-year-old also ran the promotion when Paul Heyman was unable to at the end of its lifecycle.

The Hardcore legend is one of the most recognizable names that came from ECW. Tommy Dreamer also spent years in WWE, winning multiple mid-card belts in his lengthy stay at the Stamford-based promotion.

Other ECW legends that must join the WWE Hall of Fame someday are — The Sandman, Sabu, and Tazz (although his association with AEW might stop that from happening).

Batista

Batista was initially supposed to headline the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame class but turned it down due to the ceremony taking place during the pandemic. It is hard to believe that a massive star like Batista, who is a Hollywood mainstay at this point, is not part of the Hall of Fame, four years after his official retirement in 2019.

It then came as a surprise that the now 54-year-old was not part of the class of 2023, the ceremony for which was held in Los Angeles and was headlined by Rey Mysterio.

While many did predict that Batista will headline the 2024 class, the sudden passing of Bray Wyatt and the almost guarantee that he will headline next year’s Hall of Fame might mean Batista’s induction will be kicked down another year.
